Community Service Day

This past Saturday, members of the UNAA Atlanta community came together for our Community Service Day at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. It was a rewarding day of service, teamwork, and giving back to our neighbors.

Together, our volunteers sorted and packed 8,340 pounds of food, helping provide the equivalent of 6,950 meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity across metro Atlanta and North Georgia. Every box packed and every item sorted represents hope for someone in need.

The Atlanta Community Food Bank is one of Georgia's leading nonprofit hunger-relief organizations. Through partnerships with hundreds of food pantries, community organizations, schools, and shelters, it distributes millions of meals each year to help fight hunger throughout the region. We are grateful for the opportunity to support their mission and make a meaningful impact in our local community.

We also hope this serves as a reminder that if you or someone you know is experiencing food insecurity, help is available. The Atlanta Community Food Bank works with numerous partner agencies throughout metro Atlanta and North Georgia, making food assistance accessible in many neighborhoods. We encourage anyone in need to connect with a local food pantry or community organization for support.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers who generously gave their time and energy. Your commitment to serving others reflects the values of compassion, unity, and community that define UNAA Atlanta.

Together, we are making a difference, one act of service at a time.
