Mentorship Program: Nurturing Our Future

ree

We propose establishing a comprehensive mentorship program to connect and empower different generations within our community. This program will foster personal and professional growth, knowledge transfer, and stronger intergenerational bonds.

  • Young Adult to Youth Mentorship: This initiative will pair young adults (ages 18-30) with our youth (ages 12-17). Young adult mentors can offer guidance on academic pursuits, career exploration, navigating social challenges, and developing essential life skills. This peer-like mentorship can be particularly impactful as young adults have recent experience with the issues facing our youth.

  • Older Adult to Young Adult Mentorship: Our esteemed older adults possess invaluable wisdom and experience. This program will connect them with young adults seeking guidance on career development, entrepreneurship, family life, financial literacy, and community leadership. These mentorships will serve as a bridge, ensuring the preservation and transmission of our cultural heritage and life lessons to the next generation
