Encouraging a healthy lifestyle within our community can strengthen bonds and improve overall well-being.

  • Weekend Morning Runs/Walks: We will organize regular Saturday morning runs or brisk walks at a local park. This will be an informal, all-ages, and all-fitness-levels activity. Participants can go at their own pace, making it a great opportunity for exercise and casual conversation. We can designate a meeting point and time, and perhaps even rotate locations to explore different parts of Atlanta.

  • Spring and Summer Fitness Competitions: To add a fun, competitive element, we can organize Spring, Summer and Fall fitness challenges or competitions. These could be team-based events focusing on steps walked, distance run, or even friendly sports tournaments (e.g.,

    soccer, netball). The focus will be on participation, teamwork, and encouraging healthy habits rather than intense competition. Prizes for participation or team spirit can be awarded.
